From My Balcony

Flicking through my photographs last night I realised I have taken a lot of pictures from my balcony but haven't shared many of them.  I have posted on fireworks and storms, but I'm sure no one would have any objection to a post on sunsets.

Not sure of the dates of any of these but I have found it very interesting to watch the transition of the sun across the horizon during the six months I have lived here.

It started way over to the right (North)...

...eventually (in early October) setting behind the beautiful church centered on my horizon (almost directly west).

With the church lit up, not sure if you can see it in the shrunken photograph.

I hadn't realised how far south the sun would actually set.

Other times, there's no sunset. Only rain.
