My Sunday Shopping

Yesterday I walked into the city (about 4km) to do a little shopping. Needed to get some extra calories burnt on the way to my 5500 total!


I wore my bright blue jeans, red guess jumper and a white waterproof jacket (looked like rain). My brown ankle Hush Puppies were comfortable enough for the distance and much more attractive with skinny jeans than my runners...

One of my purchases was a jacket I spotted in Target a few weeks ago, here I've replaced the white one with it.

It's cream, a little quilted and has a detachable faux fur collar. I wanted a more 'casual' jacket than the once I currently own, I've seen a few others I liked in more expensive stores, but none fit as well as this one. So back to Target it was. And since they currently have a sale on (don't they always?) it was down to $47! A bargain even if I don't wear it too often. I also bought three basic 3/4 shirts for $14 each.

I also bought this dress from Portmans. It's a bit more burgundy (as the colour is labelled) and less orange-red than in this pic. Lace, fit and flare. My mother spotted it in the Portman's window a few weeks ago and thought it would look good on me (and mother's are always right!) but I had just bought my white ForeverNew dress...and this one was $149.95...two sales later and now it's only $89.95. Another bargain!

I was quite happy with my little haul. I didn't walk home though, too exhausted! Bought myself some chocolate, soy milk and grapes and caught the tram home.
